His therapeutic approach is client-centered, culturally responsive, trauma-informed and grounded in deep respect for each person’s lived experience. He integrates evidence-based and relational approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Humanistic, and mindfulness-based practices while maintaining a compassionate and flexible stance that honors your unique story.
Omar has experience supporting immigrants, LGBTQ+ individuals, survivors of domestic violence, intimate partner violence, sexual assault and other crimes, as well as people navigating grief, non-death loss, crisis, trauma, identity and major life transitions.
As a Spanish-speaking therapist, Omar deeply understands how meaningful it can be to receive therapy in your own language. He offers bilingual sessions in Spanish and English and strives to create a space where clients can feel seen, understood and supported with cultural and linguistic sensitivity.
Omar believes therapy can be a powerful space for self-care, self-knowledge, healing and growth. Together, he will work with you to explore your experiences, identify your strengths and move toward greater clarity, resilience and meaningful change.
